Cultivating generation changers.

Our aim is to cultivate a love for learning that allows students to find their God-given purpose and be capable to accomplish it.

Our Process

We partner with Christian parents to connect students to truth, beauty, and goodness through a Christ-centered and classical education. We seek to come alongside the home and church to develop fully formed disciples who love God with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strength. The process below identifies your next steps to giving your kids a Christian Classical education.

Our commitment to ACA families.

i.

Read and pray.

Read through our website to understand our philosophy and practices. Prayerfully determine whether Abilene Classical Academy can help you meet your educational goals.  Click here to inquire more information about us.

ii.

Submit Application.

Apply online here.

iii.

Family Q&A.

Once your application has been reviewed, you will be scheduled for a family Q&A with the admissions team to discuss your family’s educational goals and whether our methods and philosophy will further those goals.

iv.

Admissions Decision.

A decision on acceptance will be communicated in writing to each family as soon as possible after the Family Q&A.

v.

Acceptance.

‍We want people to be impressed with our students, and we want our students to build life skills that benefit them and honor others. Therefore, we will train students in basic discipline and etiquette and expect them to demonstrate it on appropriate occasions. For instance: honoring the dress code; standing and shaking hands with visitors; speaking with confidence.

vi.

Pay Tuition.

‍If your child is admitted, you will need to set up a payment plan by May 2024, or upon enrollment, for the 2024-2025 academic year. You can pay in full or set up a monthly payment plan at this time.

Collaborative Schedule

The ACA staff provides three full days of on-campus instruction and detailed lesson plans for two home days of parent-led instruction.  Teachers are available by email during home day instruction for questions concerning assignments.  On home days, parents act as co-teachers by instructing students in the provided lesson plans.

School Days and Class Sizes

Most ACA classes meet Tuesday - Thursday from 8:30am to 3:30pm.  One half-day Junior Kindergarten class meets from 8:30am - 12:00pm.  We are committed to keeping class sizes small.

Whom We Admit

Abilene Classical Academy admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at our school and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national or ethnic origin in administration of our educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
