Cultivating generation changers.
Our aim is to cultivate a love for learning that allows students to find their God-given purpose and be capable to accomplish it.
Our Process
We partner with Christian parents to connect students to truth, beauty, and goodness through a Christ-centered and classical education. We seek to come alongside the home and church to develop fully formed disciples who love God with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strength. The process below identifies your next steps to giving your kids a Christian Classical education.
1.
Read and pray.
Read through our website and our information packet to understand our philosophy and practices. Prayerfully determine whether Abilene Classical Academy can help you meet your educational goals.
2.
Submit Application.
We are now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year. You can view our online application here.
3.
Family Q&A.
Once your application has been reviewed, you will be scheduled for a family Q&A with the admissions team to discuss your family’s educational goals and whether our methods and philosophy will further those goals.
4.
Admissions Decision.
A decision on acceptance will be communicated in writing to each family as soon as possible after the Family Q&A.
5.
Acceptance.
Your family will need to communicate your acceptance to our admissions team by turning in your signed family contract.
6.
Pay Tuition.
If your child is admitted, the initial tuition payment will be due May 2022 for the 2022-2023 academic year. You can pay in full or set up a monthly payment plan at this time.
Whom we admit.
Abilene Classical Academy admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at our school and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national or ethnic origin in administration of our educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
A collaborative schedule.
ACA will provide three days of on-campus instruction plus lesson plans for two days of parent-led instruction at home. ACA teachers are available for questions and help on home days and provide all grading and planning. Your child will attend a full day of classes on Tuesday - Thursday. On home days, you act as a co-teacher by instructing your child in the provided lesson plans.
School days and class sizes.
All grades at ACA will meet Tuesday - Thursday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Junior Kindergarten will meet from 8:30am - 12:00pm. We are committed to keeping class sizes small.
